Terms of Service
BrokerageLoop — website, web application and mobile application. Effective: .
About these terms
These terms govern your use of the BrokerageLoop website (brokerageloop.com) and the BrokerageLoop web and mobile applications (together, the “service”). The service is provided by Deecoding SAL (Offshore), GF 1280, Beirut Digital District, Beirut, Lebanon (“we”, “us”).
A brokerage that subscribes to BrokerageLoop does so under its own agreement with us. Where that agreement and these terms differ, the agreement prevails. By using the service you accept these terms.
Who may use the service
The applications are for the staff of insurance brokerages that subscribe to BrokerageLoop. Accounts are created by the brokerage; there is no public sign-up. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details private and for what is done under your account, and your brokerage is responsible for the users it creates and the permissions it gives them.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- access, or try to access, data or accounts you are not permitted to see, including another brokerage’s;
- probe, disrupt or circumvent the security of the service, or use it to send malware;
- copy, resell, or reverse engineer the service, except where the law expressly allows it;
- use the service, including its AI assistants, in breach of any law or regulation that applies to you or your brokerage.
Your brokerage’s data
The records a brokerage enters into BrokerageLoop belong to that brokerage. We hold and process them on its instructions, as described in our privacy policy, and we do not use them for anything of our own. What happens to a brokerage’s data at the end of a subscription is set out in its agreement with us.
Fees
Fees for BrokerageLoop are agreed in each brokerage’s agreement with us. The website and the mobile app are free to use; signing in requires an account provided by a subscribing brokerage.
AI assistants
The assistants answer from your brokerage’s records and act only within your permissions, and every action they take is recorded in the audit trail. Their answers can be incomplete or wrong. You remain responsible for checking them before relying on them, and for the decisions you make.
Availability and support
We work to keep the service available and secure, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors, and we may carry out maintenance. Any service levels are set out in a brokerage’s agreement with us. Support is available in Arabic and English, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm UAE time.
Intellectual property
BrokerageLoop, its software, design and name belong to Deecoding SAL (Offshore). While your account is active, you may use the service for your brokerage’s business. No other rights are granted. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend access that breaches these terms or puts the security of the service or other users at risk. Your brokerage can remove your account at any time; your access ends when it does, or when your brokerage’s subscription ends.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, and we exclude all warranties that are not set out in these terms or in a brokerage’s agreement with us.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business or goodwill, arising from the use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees the brokerage paid us for the service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited under the laws of Lebanon.
Apps downloaded from the App Store or Google Play
If you downloaded the BrokerageLoop app from Apple’s App Store or Google Play:
- These terms are between you and us, not Apple or Google, and we alone are responsible for the app and its content.
- Apple and Google have no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
- If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund any price you paid for it (the app is free). To the maximum extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app.
- We, not Apple or Google, are responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, consumer protection claims, and claims that it infringes a third party’s intellectual property.
- You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as “terrorist supporting”, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- You must also comply with the store’s own terms of use. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon, and the competent courts of Lebanon have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will publish the new version on this page and update the date at the top; continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
