Frequently asked questions
Straight answers about BrokerageLoop: what it does, where it runs, moving your data, Odoo, pricing and demos.
Product
What is BrokerageLoop?
An operating system for insurance brokerages. It runs the broker lifecycle — lead, quote, bind, policy, endorsement, renewal, claim, collection, commission, reconciliation and counterparty statements — in one bilingual, audited system, on the web and on mobile.
Who is BrokerageLoop for?
Insurance brokerages in the Middle East that today run their book across spreadsheets, insurers’ portals or older software, and want one register for the whole lifecycle — including brokerages where co-broker and sub-broker business is a large share of the book.
Is BrokerageLoop available in Arabic?
Yes. Arabic and English throughout, right-to-left first — not a translation bolted onto a left-to-right design. Policy schedules, endorsement notes, commission notes, instalment schedules and invoices are generated in both languages.
Does BrokerageLoop send renewal reminders automatically?
Yes, to both your team and your clients. Your team gets expiry and expiring-soon notifications in-app and by email; clients get email reminders before their policy expires, and emails about renewals, new policies, policies at risk and claim status — from templates in Arabic and English.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes. Alongside the web application there is a mobile app for iOS and Android, with an owner console, field collection with QR-coded receipts and cheque capture, and a voice assistant.
Markets and hosting
Which markets does BrokerageLoop serve?
The United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia are commercial markets; Lebanon is the pilot. Lebanese and Emirati regulatory behaviour is modelled as configuration, so the same product enforces different rules in different markets.
Where is BrokerageLoop hosted?
BrokerageLoop is built on Microsoft Azure and runs a separate deployment per country. A brokerage with its own data-residency requirements can host the underlying database itself. Where records are held is set out in the privacy policy.
Can we host the database ourselves?
Yes. A brokerage can bring its own database: PostgreSQL on Microsoft Azure, in the brokerage’s own Azure subscription. It is available on every plan, and we set it up.
Can one team run several entities, such as a Lebanon entity and a UAE entity?
Yes. Each entity is its own isolated tenant, with its own data and audit trail under its own country’s rules, and the same user can switch between them easily.
How does BrokerageLoop help with compliance?
It provides the controls — a complaints register with acknowledgment SLAs, demands-and-needs assessments with a suitability statement, a jurisdiction profile per country and an append-only audit trail — and we provide the documentation and evidence a brokerage needs to show its regulator or auditor how they work. These are product controls, not a regulatory certification.
Migration and onboarding
Can you migrate years of history from our current system?
Yes. We support migration of every kind of data — from legacy desktop software, online systems and Excel sheets — including historical policy registers, claims history and unpaid client premiums, together with the files and images attached to them.
Can my team still export to Excel?
Yes. Registers export to Excel (.xlsx), CSV and PDF, and the year-end pack gives your accountant seven registers as files they can work from.
Which insurers are on the panel?
An insurer pack installs in one click. The brokerage then selects the insurers it works with, and adds any that are not in the pack.
How long does it take to get set up?
It depends on the size of the book and what the data is moving from. Ask for an estimate for your own book in the demo.
Is support available in Arabic?
Yes. Support is available in Arabic and English, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm UAE time.
Odoo and accounting
What does BrokerageLoop integrate with?
Accounting: invoices and payments push to Odoo, verified against a live instance; BrokerageLoop itself keeps no general ledger. You do not need a second supplier for that: as an Odoo partner, we set up, train and support Odoo Accounting — and Odoo’s HR apps, if you want them — alongside BrokerageLoop. AI: a brokerage can connect BrokerageLoop to Claude or ChatGPT through a secure connector, and every AI action is written to the same audit trail as a human one.
Do I need a separate Odoo supplier?
No. We are an Odoo partner and provide Odoo Accounting and Odoo’s HR apps alongside BrokerageLoop — set-up, training and support for all of it, from one team.
We do not use Odoo yet. Do we have to build our chart of accounts from scratch?
No. We bring a ready-made chart of accounts and payroll set-up for Lebanon, the UAE and Saudi Arabia, validated by auditors, and configure it in Odoo alongside BrokerageLoop’s insurance modules.
Does BrokerageLoop have HR features?
No. HR runs on Odoo’s own apps — employee records, leave, attendance and payroll — which we set up and support.
Pricing and demo
How much does BrokerageLoop cost?
Pricing is not published on this site. Ask for it when you request a demo.
